
I’m James, a Melbourne-based designer with a background that spans landscape architecture, UX/UI, digital marketing and content creation. I enjoy building things that people genuinely connect with — from websites and digital experiences to visual content and brand stories. Outside of work you’ll usually find me travelling, taking photos, exploring great design, or working on creative side projects.
Currently, I work in digital content and marketing within the architectural lighting industry, where I manage websites, create content, develop campaigns, and help bring design-focused stories to life across digital platforms.
I’m drawn to thoughtful design, bold creative decisions, and work that balances aesthetics with function. Whether I’m building a website, crafting a user experience, producing content, or exploring a new creative discipline, I’m always looking for ways to create meaningful connections between people and ideas.
When I joined Sphera, the digital experience felt fragmented and underutilised. Through UX improvements, content strategy, website enhancements and visual storytelling, I helped create a more cohesive, engaging and user-focused experience that better reflects the quality of the brand and its work.

TEX is a digital platform designed to connect educational institutions, associations and industry partners through a unified online experience. Working as a UI Designer, I contributed to the redesign of core platform experiences, helping develop scalable design systems, improve usability and create more consistent interfaces across multiple products and user groups.

Adonis is a conceptual grooming and lifestyle brand inspired by the Greek meaning of beauty, strength and allure. The project explores the intersection of premium packaging, typography and visual identity, creating a brand experience that feels grounded, sophisticated and distinctly masculine.

JG is a personal apparel concept developed as an exploration of resilience, creativity and self-expression. Inspired by the energy and resourcefulness that emerged during Melbourne’s lockdowns, the project combines bold graphics, vibrant colour and contemporary streetwear influences to create a distinctive visual identity.

Yummy is a craft beer branding concept centred around playful typography and integrated logo design. The identity was developed by merging the letterforms of the brand name into a bottle-inspired mark, resulting in a visual system that balances creativity, simplicity and strong shelf presence.
